Contemporary, open living space supplants the dark, dreary interiors of this 1970’s condomium.
Thoughtful lighting schemes that incorporate both well placed artificial fixtures and skylights transform and exemplify this extensive remodel. New windows maximize natural daylight.
The millwork captures traditional Japanese elements including shoji screens and doors that cleverly conceal storage and rooms. A custom tansu chest, designed by Kasey personally, sits atop the bespoke floating zebrawood buffet. The Master Bathroom was inspired by a sauna. Walls and millwork are clad in oak while a shell stone limestone updates the floors and counters.
